How can I find out the status of my order?
Click the My Account link located at the top right corner of this webpage. You may be prompted to log in. From this page, you will be able to view a list of recent orders. Online access to order status and tracking numbers is coming soon.

Is it safe for me to use my credit card on your site? Is it secure?
Yes! Dale and Thomas Popcorn uses Verisign SSL certificates to offer secure communications. All data is encrypted when sent to and from our site. For more information, visit www.Verisign.com or click here to read about our privacy policy.

What If I'm not satisfied with my order?
We guarantee that you will love our popcorn, or your money back. Period. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with any item from Dale and Thomas Popcorn, please call us at 1-800-POPCORN or click here to send us an email. We will make it right with a prompt and courteous replacement, exchange, or refund (your choice).

Can I order if I live outside the United States?
If you live in Canada and wish to ship a gift within the continental United States, we will be happy to take your order.
Unfortunately, we currently are unable to ship outside the continental United States. We want your popcorn to arrive crunchy and delicious, and we cannot guarantee that it will live up to our highest quality standards if it is shipped long distances.

If I have a promotion code, where do I enter it for my discount?
In the shopping cart, you will see a box labeled “Promotion Code.” This is where you enter your code. You must click the "Apply to Order" button for any discounts or adjustments to be made to your order.
Please note, only one promotion code or promotion gift card may be applied per order.

What happens if I order a product, and the price was incorrect on your website?
Unfortunately, mistakes can happen (rarely, we hope!). If a price is listed incorrectly on our website, we will charge you the correct price.

I have a $20.00 promotional gift card. How do I redeem it?
You may redeem your $20.00 promotional gift card by entering the 17-digit number printed on the back of the card in the promotion code box at the Shopping Cart.
Please note that not all products on the Dale and Thomas website are eligible for this promotion. There is also a limit of one promotion code that may be used per order.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PopClub Gift Cards and Dale and Thomas gift certificates.

When will my credit card be billed?
Your credit card will be billed at the time that your order is placed. If you select a future delivery date, your order will be billed to your credit card when you place the order.

What happens after I place an order?
Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation right away. Please save this in case you have any questions later. You will receive a second email when your order ships. Orders will ship within 1 business day.
The first exception is any order placed with a future delivery date of your choice. In that case, your order will ship in time to arrive during your specified delivery week, and you will receive an email confirmation to let you know that it has shipped.
The second exception is any order for a 2-Gallon Tin or 3.5-Gallon Tin. It takes an additional 1 business day for us to ship popcorn tins. You will receive an email confirmation to let you know when your popcorn tins have shipped.

How do I cancel my order?
Once your order is placed, we will not be able to cancel the order.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or the Virgin Islands?
Unfortunately, we currently are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii or the Virgin Islands. We want your popcorn to arrive crunchy and delicious, and we cannot guarantee that it will live up to our highest quality standards if it is shipped these distances. If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or the Virgin Islands we recommend you visit friends or relatives in the contiguous 48 states and have them order some popcorn for you for delivery during your trip!

Can you ship to my P.O. Box?
We ship your order via UPS. UPS cannot deliver to Post Office boxes.

Can you ship to an APO or FPO address?
Unfortunately we are not able to ship to APO or FPO addresses. We want your popcorn to arrive crunchy and delicious, and we cannot guarantee that it will live up to our highest quality standards if it is shipped these distances.

Can you ship to school dormitories?
UPS requires a physical delivery address, which for schools is often different than the postal address. Please check with your student's school regarding the proper delivery address and internal routing information for UPS shipments on campus.

Can I specify an exact delivery date for my order?
Yes! When checking out, you will be able to specify a delivery week or an exact delivery date for your order.

What is the cut-off time for my order to be shipped the same day?
Most orders received before 12:00 noon EST will ship that same day. Orders after 12:00 noon EST will ship the next business day.
Certain products may not ship the same day. Please see the individual product page for any product-specific shipping disclaimers.
You will receive an email confirmation to let you know when your popcorn has shipped.

Can I change the delivery address after my order is placed?
Once your order is placed, we will not be able to change the delivery address.

Once your order is placed, we will not be able to change the delivery date, even if you specified a delivery date in the future.

How much do you charge for shipping?
We charge $9.95 per item for our Standard Shipping, which is UPS Ground. For complete details, click here.
During the summer months items containing chocolate are packaged inside a space age AirLiner cooler with reusable gel packs. Despite these precautions against melting, we must also ship chocolate popcorn gifts via UPS 2nd Day ($19.95) or faster, to ensure that they arrive at their destination at their muchiest and crunchiest.

Popcorn Products

How long will my popcorn stay fresh after I receive it?
Honestly, we don’t understand this question. Everyone we know devours the popcorn immediately, so freshness is never an issue! However, in the event that you are unable to enjoy your popcorn right away, we do have some recommendations for helping to extend its freshness:
- Do not open the package until you are ready to eat it.
- Do not expose the product to adverse weather conditions (rain, sleet, snow, etc.).
- Once opened, store popcorn in an airtight container at room temperature.
- Do not refrigerate, reheat or microwave any of our products. Generally, our popcorn will remain fresh about 60 days in the right environment (away from humidity and heat).

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, we do.
Please go to our Gift Card section to purchase The PopClub gift card. Gift cards can be purchased in $30, $50, $75, and $100 increments. Your gift recipient may use the card either online on our website or in any of our retail locations.

I need your popcorn all the time! Do you have a Popcorn-of-the-Month club?
We totally understand where you're coming from. Unfortunately, at this time we can only offer Popcorn-of-the-Month in the fall.

Do you have corporate gifts or volume discounts?

I have allergies...are your products free from peanuts, tree nuts, nut oils, soy, dairy and/or gluten?
While only some of our products actually contain nuts or nut products, all of our products are produced in a facility that uses milk, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely free from cross contamination during cooking, processing or packaging.
We are glad to tell you that our popcorn is free of wheat, barley, oats and rye. We do recommend that you check with your physician to determine if corn is acceptable in your diet. As for gluten, we cannot promise that there is no contamination during processing and packaging.

Can I get a refill for a tin I purchased previously?
Yes and no. While we do not specifically offer refills for our tins, you can order our Six-Pack or Twelve-Pack Samplers and use it to refill your tin.

Where can I find nutritional information about your popcorn?

Can I replace one flavor in a combo tin with another or substitute different bags of one flavor for another?
Unfortunately, we cannot make up personalized combinations at this time. But we would like to suggest our very popular Classic Caramel and Cheese Combo in the 2 and 3.5 Gallon Gift Tins, or Combo 1 in our 6-Pack Sampler. Our Bring On The Heat! Combo is also very popular, sort of a Customer 2nd Favorite.

Could you provide more information on gift cards?
Gift cards take the decision making out of shopping for gifts and the recipient gets to choose what they want! $30, $50, $75, and $100 cards are available on the Dale and Thomas website and can be used online at DaleAndThomas.com, in any Dale and Thomas retail location, or by calling 1-800-POPCORN.
There are some limitations on our gift cards:
- Gift cards will automatically be sent via ground shipping, but there is no shipping fee.
- Gift cards take 7-10 business days to reach the recipient.
- Gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged.
